The plate meat was delicious. My son had the deer gulch and my friend the veal knuckle. It was also very good.

A brilliant evening we spent at the Altwirt in Wackersberg. We stayed at the Pension Willibald and came across this restaurant in search of something to eat. We were lucky that on Fridays fresh fish grilled. The roast pork was delicious. I would come back anytime.

Only place in central Wackersberg got get a bit. This place is super and very traditional with very friendly staff. It's not fancy, but walking through the door is like stepping back in time. Recommended.

The best place in the area.

The "Altwirt" is a very cozy Bavarian tavern in Wackersberg. We went there after a horse-drawn sleigh ride. It's really the way you would imagine it to be "typical". The decor is great, you feel at home as in the cozy, warm room. The service is perfect, very attentive, fast and very nice. The cake was top notch and the coffee was great too. The prices are very humane, so you do not get poor with children and families. The economy also has room for larger groups, but registration would probably be appropriate. Space is plentiful and parking is also available. I can only recommend a visit to Altwirt Incidentally, you can also book the horse-drawn sleigh or carriage tour there. Was fun.
